This year, AFS will be offering educational speakers at our support group meetings. There is still no fee to attend and the more, the merrier!
Crestview Support Group
Meets at the Covenant Hospice Office located at 370 West Redstone Drive from 10 am - 11 am

- February 9th - Understanding Alzheimer's Disease - Presented by Courtney Cook, BSW, Client Services Coordinator at AFS
- March 9th - peer support group
- April 13th - Dementia and Medication: What you should know - Presented by Suzanne Kelly, Pharmacist with Covenant Hospice
- May 11th - peer support group
- June 8th - VA Part I: Home Care Benefits - Presented by Jeanie Sherman, LCSW, Veteran's Administration **TIME CHANGE - 2:00 - 3:00 pm**
- July 13th - peer support group
- August 12th - Memory Disorder Clinic and Brain Bank - Presented by Joy Barbee, RN, Memory Disorder Clinic **DATE CHANGE**
- September 14th - peer support group
- October 12th - Covenant Hospice and End of Life Care for AD - Presented by Covenant Hospice
- November 9th - VA Part II: Monetary Benefits - Presented by Clara Miller and Bob Frank of the Veteran's Administration
- December 14th - Coping with the Holidays
