Pensacola, FL – Alzheimer's Family Services (AFS) is seeking funding to provide Alzheimer’s caregivers some much needed respite care. Respite care provides family caregivers with a needed break - time to get away and rejuvenate, so they can better care for their patients and preserve their own mental well-being. Pensacola– A Pensacola man was lost - and quickly found - Monday (Jun 30) around 9:30pm. James Walker, 70, was wearing the “Project Lifesaver” transmitting device, which works like a GPS, used to locate missing Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
